AZIENDA AGRICOLA IL CASCIN

The Azienda was established in 1994 in the upper Oneglia Valley in Arzeno d’Oneglia, an area devoted to olive growing (the Taggiasca cultivar rules) and – additionally – viticulture. The steep terrain, with its layers of terraces and dry-stone walls and an altitude of 450-600 metres above sea level, calls for different vines that ripen in the same period. Through time, the Azienda has reclaimed several parcels of land around the village (over 50 hectares): woods, regenerated centuries-old olive trees, and vineyards that were replanted 7-8 years ago. The soul of the company is Cavaliere Giovanni Massa, who is passionate about the territory and has won numerous awards.
